Dying Light 2 requires multiple playthroughs to experience all content

What you need to know

  • Dying Light 2 has a branching story.
  • To experience it all, you have to play it multiple times, make different choices.
  • The game can be reserved for $ 60 on Amazon.

Last year, Dying Light 2 was unveiled in the E3 phase of Microsoft. While the title returns to a dilapidated city with survivors trying to live after an apocalyptic event, it brings a new emphasis on your choices and their impact on the world. Since the announcement we haven't heard much about the game, but during a recent interview between producer Kornel Jaskula and GamesRadar +, more information came to light.

Dying Light 2 has branching paths, so you have to play it a number of times to explore all the options. This means that certain areas in the game and the story missions are not accessible due to specific choices. Jaskula said the following.

It almost seems as if we are currently making various games with content. We design the game on the basis that some players will miss content and we are good at that. Thanks to the variety of stories, missions, content and possessions, we believe that players always want to play the game again or try to co-op with other players to see their worlds. That is something that we have laid down as a foundation from the very beginning … it is one of our design goals and it is something that we still keep in mind.

Hopefully Dying Light 2 will contain a fascinating story. The first title excelled when it came to gameplay, but the story and the vote were missing.

It is unclear when Dying Light 2 will come to Xbox One and other platforms, but you can pre-order it at Amazon for $ 60.
