Facebook & # 39; s new Hobbi app is a Pinterest wannabe for documenting hobbies & # 39; s

After silently releasing the Lasso app for TikTok, Facebook has now blocked Pinterest. The social media giant has launched a new app called Hobbi that allows users to document their hobbies and projects.

The Hobbi app collects images of a project in different phases to document the progress. Users can then create a video with highlights of their project and share it with others.

Hobbi only retrieves photos from the camera roll or from those clicked with the app itself, unlike Pinterest, which allows users to save photos from the internet and secure them to a virtual board.

Facebook says that Hobbi will help users organize the creative process of a project. The app is currently only available in the App Store, but there is no information when it will reach the Android platform.
