Google stops selling Pixel 2 and 2 XL – Bring the discounts!

When you visit the Google Store, something is missing: the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. As first noted by Android police, Google no longer seems to be selling its two 2017 devices.

The product listing page of Google Pixel 2 was originally found here; a visit to that page now leads you to the page for the Google Pixel 3, and sends a not so subtle signal that you should probably buy it instead.

This update of the Google Store is not too surprising. In a few months the Google Pixel 2 will be two years old and we will probably have a Google Pixel 4 along the way, as well as the so-called Google Pixel 3 a and Google Pixel 3a XL.

However, that means that we can expect that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will fall in price across the board. If Google no longer sells the devices, it is a good guess that the company no longer makes the devices. So you can expect that many online stores will start selling firewood from their last remaining product.

We have already seen substantial discounts for the Pixel 2 XL, such as this one from Best Buy, which gives you a brand new device for only $ 400. Expect more to come!

The Pixel 2 still has one of the best cameras & # 39; s currently available and the device will continue to receive security patches and Android updates in the near future. It is also currently one of only a handful of devices that can perform the first beta of Android Q and are likely to be able to perform beta of Android R in 2020.
