Google SVP admits that an unreleased phone is being used, may be Google Pixel 3a

We expect Google to soon release its first medium-term efforts in its Google Pixel product line. The devices are said to be sold as the Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL.

The releases of these two new phones could take place soon, as Hiroshi Lockheimer – a senior vice president at Google – claims to be carry an unpublished telephone. It is possible that this device without name could be one of the Google Pixel 3a phones.

Lockheimer refers in a tweet to the non-released phone. He claims to have used the phone to take photos of the original offices of Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard that have been preserved in their original decor from the 60s. Hewlett and Packard have started the Hewlett-Packard Company, better known as HP.

The comments under the tweet are full of people speculating that the Pixel 3a is the device to which Lockheimer refers. However, a jokester assumes that it might be the OnePlus 7 (it is most likely not).

The devices Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL probably have the same camera system as that of their more expensive siblings, the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The 3a models will, however, cut a number of corners to keep prices low, namely with a plastic-based housing, a slower processor and displays of a lower quality.
