Motorola Edge retails for $ 700 unlocked in the US, and also gets a spec bump

The Motorola Edge price has finally been announced – it costs $ 699.99 in the US for an unlocked unit. However, Motorola has not revealed a concrete plan for market availability, other than the vague 'summer' release that was promised when the phone debuted alongside the flagship Motorola Edge + earlier this year.

Aside from the price quote, the Motorola Edge has also received an internal upgrade. Instead of the originally promised 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, the Motorola Edge now comes with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. However, the rest of the package remains the same.

The IP54 certified Motorola Edge has a 6.7-inch FHD + curved OLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765 chip. In the back is a 64 MP camera, accompanied by a 16 MP ultra-wide angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens, while selfies are handled by a 25 MP snapper.
