View the Origin Story for the new Overwatch hero Sigma

3 min read

A new hero named Sigma is coming to Overwatch! If you are one of the many, many players who feel excluded because they don't get a new tank, don't let your heart be in trouble, because Sigma is a new tank!

View the Origin story for Sigma below and show his background as a brilliant physicist – and the dark twist it takes.

Well, that was certainly a lot more intense than the usual Origin Story. Sigma seems fascinating and I am sure that players will already dissect exactly how it fits into Overwatch as a whole. There is no date yet for when Sigma will be added, although it will almost certainly go through weeks of testing in the Public Test Region (PTR).

If you haven't used Overwatch for a while, this is a good time to come in and shake off the dust before Sigma is finally added. Remember that the Overwatch Summer Games event is currently underway, so make sure you are there and grab those seasonal skins, sprays, and other rewards.
